|A colleague is asking me for advice about how to maintain several versions (in terms of content) of a single document; so, lots of text that's the same in all versions plus occasional blocks that change depending on the device. If I was doing this sort of thing in FrameMaker, I'd be using conditional text and telling the software "show all unconditional content and all content tagged 'terminal A only'" – does InDesign support the same approach?
According to the .pdf properties, the sample I've been sent was prepared with IDD 2017 for Mac.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
